Collaborations

Sonja is a member of the Executive Coaching Pool of the Max Planck Society. In this role, senior scientific leaders can engage her as a trusted sparring partner when navigating strategic responsibility, institutional complexity, and the demands of leading world-class research.
Her work supports international scientific leaders and influential thinkers operating at the highest levels of academia—where leadership decisions shape not only teams and institutes, but the direction of global research.

Sonja currently works also as an intervention trainer within the Edu:Social project. Edu:Social is a Germany-wide scientific research study led by Prof. Dr. Tania Singer, Director of the Social Neuroscience Lab of the Max Planck Society. The project strengthens resilience and social competencies among teachers and healthcare professionals through multi-week mental interventions designed to reduce burnout risk.

Sonja is also a member of the Trainer Pool at Abilways Belgium, who provide customised learning solutions and innovative development programs. Abilways Belgium serves a diverse clientele across both public and private sectors, including companies, local authorities, and international / European public institutions in Brussels and Luxembourg.

From 2019 to 2024, Sonja was part of the international facilitator team of awaris GmbH, Cologne, delivering mindfulness-based and systemic leadership interventions in complex European public institutions and a global pharmaceutical organisation.
